Atlas

Atlas: Talent Netwerken Antwerpen

In collaboration with Atlas and with the support of the Flemish Government

Period: July 2025 – December 2026
Location: Antwerp
Target group: Integrators who are not eligible for benefits and newcomers in Antwerp
Budget: €285,000

Objective

JobRoad, together with Atlas in Antwerp, aims to guide integrators who are not eligible for benefits and newcomers to the labor market more quickly and sustainably.
JobRoad supports Atlas by providing additional individual guidance and mediation towards employment. We focus in particular on jobseekers who do not receive benefits and for whom the transition to work is often more challenging.
In this way, we strengthen the existing services of Atlas and ensure that even motivated candidates with lower language knowledge can more quickly find their way to sustainable employment.

Approach

  • Workshops on labor market realities: 13 group sessions per year (6 in 2025) to identify talents, competencies, and realistic job targets.
  • Individual coaching trajectories: 3 months of intensive guidance plus 1 month of follow-up. Guidance in screening, job interviews, job hunting, and workplace integration.
  • Talent Tables: 4 matchmaking events per year where jobseekers meet employers through speed dating or recruitment games.
  • Employment instruments: Active use of IBO, IBO-T, BIS-internships, and learning-on-the-job positions to build bridges to the labor market.
  • Cooperation with employers and sectoral funds: Focus on bottleneck jobs (healthcare, logistics, industry, cleaning, construction, etc.).

Expected Results

  • A minimum of 200 and a maximum of 435 jobseekers guided over the course of the project.
  • At least 30% sustainable employment.
  • Annually, 40 additional jobseekers reached via the Talent Tables.
  • Active employer involvement: at least 5 companies per Talent Table, close collaboration with JobRoad ambassadors and sectoral funds.

Added Value

  • Seamless cooperation with Atlas: orientation → activation → sustainable employment.
  • Innovative, inclusive methods such as recruitment games and blind hiring.
  • Extra support for employers through “Inclusive workplaces” tracks.
  • Structural collaboration with the City of Antwerp to avoid fragmentation.

Practical Implementation

The project team consists of:

  • 2 job coordinators (guidance of jobseekers)
  • 1 project manager (group actions and employer engagement)
