4.2 Transfer of data within the group
JobRoad is part of the House of HR group, which includes various companies active in the field of recruitment and human resources. This includes the following Belgian brands: Accent, CTRL-F, Nowjobs, Sixie and Talent Lab. JobRoad will share the personal data it processes with other companies within the House of HR group in the context of intra-group cooperation and/or intra-group services in order to improve, facilitate and simplify the activities and services of JOBROAD and the House of HR group (e.g. ICT services, accounting, analyses and statistics, credit management, direct marketing, etc.).
In certain cases, JobRoad may act as joint controller together with other companies of the House of HR group:
The joint controllers have entered into an agreement pursuant to Article 26 of the GDPR, which sets out the specific rights, obligations and responsibilities of each controller with regard to joint controllership. This means that they jointly determine the purpose of the means for processing your personal data within the framework of the above-mentioned purposes. In this case, they are jointly responsible for compliance with the applicable data protection legislation. However, JobRoad remains your main point of contact, including for the exercise of your rights with regard to your personal data (for more information on the exercise of your rights, see Article 5).
4.3 Transfer to third countries
JobRoad may transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area in order to process the data in accordance with this privacy statement. In the event that data is transferred outside the European Economic Area to a country that is not recognised as providing an adequate level of protection, JobRoad will take the necessary measures to ensure that the data transfer takes place in accordance with the GDPR (such as the implementation of contractual provisions that provide sufficient safeguards for data protection for the data that will be transferred internationally, contractual provisions, binding corporate rules, exceptions as provided for in Article 49 of the GDPR). For the following purposes, JobRoad transfers your personal data (mainly identification data) to parties located outside the European Economic Area: administration and management of staff and intermediaries, customer management and public relations. For these processing operations, adequacy decisions (UK, US) exist, or JobRoad has concluded standard contractual clauses and carried out a transfer impact assessment and taken measures to reduce privacy risks (US).
For further information on this subject, including the measures taken by JobRoad in response to the transfer of personal data outside the EEA, please contact JobRoad in accordance with Article 9.
You always have the right to request JobRoad to access, restrict, correct or delete your personal data. You have the right to withdraw your consent, object to the processing of your personal data or request JobRoad to transfer this data.
You can exercise your rights by contacting JobRoad (contact details can be found in Article 9). If JobRoad has reasonable doubts about your identity, JobRoad may ask you to prove your identity in order to prevent anyone from gaining unauthorised access to your data.
JobRoad is not always obliged to comply with your request to exercise your rights – your rights only apply in the cases and to the extent provided for by the GDPR.

JobRoad has developed security measures that are adapted on a technical and organisational level to prevent the destruction, loss, falsification, alteration, unauthorised access or accidental disclosure to third parties of personal data collected, as well as any other unauthorised processing of this data.
In order to process your personal data, JobRoad grants its employees access to your personal data.
JobRoad will enforce a similar level of protection through contractual obligations – similar to this Privacy Statement – against its employees and appointees. In concrete terms, this means that JobRoad’s employees and appointees are bound by confidentiality and that only those for whom it is necessary for the performance of their duties will have access to your personal data.
