Project 15

Local Activation Pact Mechelen

General

Within the ‘Local Activation Pact’ project in Mechelen, we provide individual guidance programs of three months, during which we intensively guide clients in the search for employment opportunities. Within this project, we also offer intensive job application training, with a focus on discovering strengths and capabilities, and work closely with the temporary employment sector (Accent Jobs, Accent Construct and Nowjobs) to create even more opportunities..

How do we work?

1.

You can register every Tuesday between 9 am and 5 pm to schedule an introductory meeting.

2.

Referral to this project is arranged by the social assistant. We like to get to know the customer better and delve deeper into the job goals. We will look for a job through individual job hunting for three months.

During ‘job application training’ workshops we learn how to approach a job interview and how we can best prepare for it. We do this using interactive exercises, both individually and in groups. These workshops take place every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Social House in Mechelen. The social assistant takes care of the registration.

Commissioned by the City of Mechelen JobRoad will guide 270 living wage beneficiaries towards a job in the period from 01/01/2024 – 30/11/2024. We aim for an activation of 30% (Lot 1). JobRoad will also provide 43 application workshops for living wage beneficiaries on behalf of the City of Mechelen during the period from 01/01/2024 – 30/11/2024 (Lot 2).
