Project

Quartier Versailles – A tailor-made job

The aim of the ‘A tailor-made job’ project is to organize meetings between job seekers and organizations that can help them find a job or training. Bringing all labor market players together in one place makes it easier for people in difficulty to find a job and makes it possible to offer them a single employment service, centralized at a key location in the neighborhood.

The project

In the Quartier Versailles neighborhood, JobRoad guides residents toward sustainable work through a tailor-made job, with extra attention for those who are far removed from the labor market.

We carry out this project together with local partners and with the support of the authorities involved.

Who is it for

For new arrivals and newcomers in a civic integration program in the region who are motivated to take steps toward work and are looking to reconnect with the labor market.

The steps of the pathway

  1. 01

    Labor market workshops

In collective workshops, candidates get to know the Belgian labor market: sectors, shortage occupations and how applying for a job works.

  2. 02

    Individual guidance

Each candidate follows an intensive, tailored pathway, with support for screening, job training and job applications.

  3. 03

    Talent tables

Through matchmaking events, candidates meet employers directly, without a CV and with a focus on competencies.

  4. 04

    Bridge to work

We actively work toward sustainable employment and continue to provide guidance in the workplace after the start.

  5. 05

    Focus on shortage occupations

Together with employers, we focus on sectors with many opportunities, such as healthcare, logistics, industry and construction.
