General
Within the ‘Local Activation Pact’ project in Mechelen, we provide individual guidance programs of three months, during which we intensively guide clients in the search for employment opportunities.
How do we work?
1.
You can register every Tuesday between 9 am and 5 pm to schedule an introductory meeting.
2.
Referral to this project is arranged by the social assistant. We like to get to know the customer better and delve deeper into the job goals. We will look for a job through individual job hunting for three months.
3.
During workshops on labor market reality and competencies for clients of the Public Center for Social Welfare (OCMW) Mechelen, we learn about the labor market and how we can prepare for it. These workshops take place monthly, every third Thursday of the month, at the Social House in Mechelen. The social worker is responsible for the registration.
4.
We will hold 4 matchmaking events where, with the aim of activation, we invite four employers from each sector (hospitality, cleaning, retail, services) to conduct accessible speed dating sessions with the clients of the Public Center for Social Welfare (OCMW) Mechelen
Commissioned by the City of Mechelen, JobRoad will guide 250 social assistance beneficiaries towards employment during the period from 01/12/2024 to 30/11/2025. We aim for an activation rate of 30% (Lot 1). JobRoad will also conduct 12 workshops for social assistance beneficiaries on behalf of the City of Mechelen during the period from 01/12/2024 to 30/11/2025 (Lot 2).
