In Antwerp, nearly 150 Ukrainian refugees are at work thanks to the Ukraine@work guidance pathway, a collaboration between the city, JobRoad and the Internationaal Comité. This is shown by an evaluation by the city, just under a year after the start of the project.
The pathway targets a vulnerable group with little or no knowledge of Dutch and without a social network in Antwerp. Of the 184 people who have been actively guided for more than three months, 148 are at work, not only in cleaning but also in retail, logistics, industry and production. By the end of the year, 400 Ukrainian refugees will have been guided.
