The project focuses on production in four sectors: wood, textiles, food and plastics.<\/p>\n<p>The project is a cross-border collaboration in which partners pool their expertise:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Flanders focuses on competency development and training<\/li>\n<li>The Netherlands focuses on practical learning in the workplace<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This creates a strong chain of screening, training and employment.<\/p>\n<h2>Who is it for?<\/h2>\n<p>The project is aimed at people with a migration background (new arrivals, refugees, newcomers in a civic integration program, status holders), both low- and highly skilled.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, it also supports job seekers who are further removed from the labor market and need targeted guidance toward work.<\/p>\n<h2>How does the pathway work?<\/h2>\n<p>Within this project, JobRoad is responsible for organizing matchmaking activities according to a three-phase model leading to sustainable employment:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kickstart &#8211; Employers present their organization and vacancies to pathway counselors and commit to meeting candidates in an accessible way, with no CV required.<\/li>\n<li>Screening &amp; Matching &#8211; Candidates are assessed on motivation, learning ability and competencies. This is followed by targeted matching with vacancies or a suitable follow-up pathway.<\/li>\n<li>Project week &#8211; Candidates get to know the workplace, meet employers and receive intensive guidance. If necessary, they are referred to training or an alternative pathway.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Our approach<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Inclusive labor market: we convince employers to give opportunities to talent without the traditional barriers, for example through blind hiring.<\/li>\n<li>Strong employer networks: active collaboration with companies in Flanders and the Netherlands.<\/li>\n<li>Complete pre-pathway in Flanders: from prospecting and awareness-raising to screening, matching and guidance.<\/li>\n<li>Collaboration with partners: a powerful network of organizations (including education, research, training centers and employer networks) ensures an integrated approach. The project relies on the combined expertise of seven partners. The complementarity of these partners makes a seamless chain of referral, training and sustainable employment possible. These partners are:<\/li>\n<li>RTC West-Vlaanderen (Coordination).<\/li>\n<li>HOGENT (Research, Inclusion evaluation).<\/li>\n<li>JobRoad ivzw (Activation pathways, Screening\/Workshops in Flanders).<\/li>\n<li>PlastIQ (Accredited training center).<\/li>\n<li>Stichting Avans (Research, HR expertise, Referral in the Netherlands).<\/li>\n<li>Eurojob B.V.
